Dear Prime Minister Modi,
On behalf of Tamils for Biden in the US, we extend our congratulations to you for securing your third consecutive win in the recent Indian parliamentary election. During their visits to Tamil Nadu, BJP leaders have discussed the challenges faced by the Tamil people and have criticized the prior support from the DMK and Congress for Rajapakse’s genocidal policies in 2009.
In light of historical injustices and the struggles faced by the Tamil community, we urge you to consider granting the Tamils their deserved sovereignty. Just as India played a role in liberating East Pakistan, we believe that you have the power to restore the lost sovereignty of the Tamils resulting from European invasions.
We wish you success for another successful 5-year term as Prime Minister of India.
